I had a wonderful time at the country living fair this past weekend! The weather was gorgeous...it was so fun to get away with 2 great friends!! The fair had some really beautiful booths... these are a few of my personal favorites...Urban Farmhouse, Findings @ SummerHouse, Quintessential Antiques, McMaster & Storm, Home Girl, & Willow Nest Farm! The grounds were beautiful...just a great place to hold an event!! So, I took a few pictures...hope you enjoy them!

Just got this in last night...sold a big piece that is going to Texas and was glad to find a replacement so quickly! I think I will paint the bottom part and sell the 2 pieces separately. Needs a little freshening up, but it is a great solid piece with lots of storage & a great wood top. I can see it as an island in a kitchen!!

Chicago or Bust!!

Definitely feeling like the Beverly Hillbilly's here!

We took a truckload of things to Brimfield in Chicago this past Saturday! I was pretty excited to see Julie's shop and I wasn't disappointed! She was incredibly nice and her shop was amazing! She has a great eye for putting things together and she is getting a lot of press! She will be featured in Country Living...not sure when...but they already did the photo shoot! It is a real blessing for us to be able to sell some of our things at her place. One of the items we are consigning is a 17 foot red 1937 Old Towne Canoe...it is really cool. She will be suspending it from the ceiling over a huge harvest table! Can't wait to see it and hopefully I can share a picture on this blog!! Here are a few pics I took while I was there...

Just got back from vacation...

we go to a little lake just 2 hours south of here

and spend a week of swimming, fishing, boating, eating, and relaxing!!

We love it!!

I was needing a break from the shop!

Thankfully I have some nice friends that cover for me while I'm gone!!

Need to go out and do some antiquing...

we have sold quite a bit this month.

No problem there though, that's my favorite part of this job:)
