Another show down...3 more to go! I am so proud of myself because I actually took some photos of our booth and a few others. We had good sales despite the low traffic. It was a beautiful sunny day with a nice breeze. Our kids came with us for the very first time...long day for them but they did great and were a big help. Here a few pics of our booth...

but thankfully I have!! My 11 year old daughter is painting our shoppe's garage for her summer project. Of course we picked the hottest week so far of the summer, but she is doing a fabulous job and looking so cute doing it!!!

chicago show...

Just wanted to show a few of the things we are gathering for our show in Chicago. The show is July 26th & 27th. I still need to get everthing cleaned up and tagged so this is a short post. I need to start putting away a block of time to blog otherwise it doesn't get done. I'll get better at this!

welcome to my porch...

My porch makeover is done and is all ready for Summer and the 4th of July. This is my favorite time of year to decorate and I really love how the porch turned out. Hope you enjoy it too!

fishing...

Did a little antiquing over the weekend...we (my hubby and 2 kids) went to a local mall and found a few things. The kids cringe when we say the word "antiquing" so we had to do a little compromising. We could antique if we went to the lake and fished in the evening!! DEAL!!

We were all happy at the end of the day!!!

Been awhile since I have posted...I thought I would do a better job of keeping my blog updated but life keeps getting in the way. We had our first show of the season in Chicago last weekend(chicagoantiquemarket.com) and it went really well. We had a little problem getting up there (our truck broke down), but thankfully we made it. We were about 2 hours late so it didn't give me a lot of time to unload and set up. It normally takes me about 3 hours to set up our booth and this time I only had about 1 hour. I was a little stressed! I had planned on taking pictures for my blog, but I had no time. Hopefully next time!

Now that we are back I am rearranging the shop for summer. The shop has about 10 rooms plus a wrap around porch and we redo almost every room. Needless to say I am a little torn up and keeping myself busy. We also need to stay on the junking trail...our next show is June 28th...plus we have to keep the shop stocked up!
